Whangamatā Surf School offers a comprehensive Learn to Surf Program that combines surfing with an educational experience including safety, conservation and fun and is a great activity for corporate groups & Schools.
Corporate groups
Take advantage of a safe learning environment led by qualified surf coaches & beach lifeguards which ensures a great time is had by all! We focus on key skills such as self awareness, relating to others, participating and contributing which makes surfing a fantastic team building activity, with the bonus learning surfing techniques, water safety and having and great time as a group.
Schools
We welcome schools to join us for an amazing learn to surf experience and where could be better than on the beautiful beaches of Whangamata. We coach schools from all around the country and it is an experience every student values and benefits from. Our sessions are not only fun and filled with learning new skills & great exercise but also educational with an emphasis on water safety, ocean awareness, and conservation of our water ways.
